Birthday Parties
The Y’s Birthday Party Program offers kids the option of spending their special day with us. With the choice of swimming, gym games, Zumba, or Drums Alive, the Y is the place to be! If you have any questions, please contact Ryan Bacon at (507) 287-2260 ext. 335, or ryanb@rochfamy.org.
Party Basics
Parties designed for children of all ages. Party room can accomodate small to large groups. Parties can be booked Sunday’s through Saturday’s at various times of availability.
Express Parties
Express Parties are new to the Y. This option gives you the access to the pools or gym, along with a party room for a prearranged two hour period.
Cost:
Members $50.00
Non-Members $100.00
(cost includes 8 children, additional attendees are $3.00 per guest)
Deluxe Parties
You have the option of a Deluxe Gym or Deluxe Pool party. This option gives you a Y host/hostess. The birthday child will receive a t-shirt and all children will get a balloon and goodie bag. For gym parties, the host will coordinate games. The host will not be involved in swimming activities.

Zumba or Drums Alive Parties
Zumba or Drums Alive parties are an hour and a half. They are lead by one of the Y’s group fitness instructors. The first half of the party is spent with fitness instructor. With the time remaining you will have access to a party room for cake and opening gifts.
- KIDS ZUMBA- Great fun and happiness of music and dance into a fitness activity for boys and girls! A simple and effective dance-fitness workout that incorporates footwork and body movements from music such as hip-hop, salsa and reggae. The emphasis is on kid-friendly songs and moves including basic dance steps and choreography along with games and healthy choices. It’s fun and easy to do with no prior dance or fitness experience required.
- Drums Alive™- Pulsating rhythms, dynamic movements, and powerful percussion make this a high-energy dance and rhythm program for your kids. It’s the drums that get to you! Kids’ Drums Alive™ combines traditional aerobic movements with powerful beats and rhythms. It’s a workout for the mind, body and spirit rolled into one. Kids love it!
