DISCOVER Y SUMMER CAMP!

Thank you for your interest in the Rochester Area Family Y Discover Y Day Camp. We are excited to bring you a new year of fun and excitement. Each activity is chosen with your child's safety and enjoyment in mind.

Children are separated into age-appropriate groups: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade ( Explorers ) in one group; 4th, 5th, and 6th grade ( Adventurers ) in another group. Every week each group will go on an exciting short field trip ( TREK ) and a wonderful long field trip ( VOYAGE ). The groups will engage in many different activities centered around a different theme each week. They will go swimming, complete arts and crafts activities, and have a blast each week at the Y! Field trips include water parks, Minnesota Twins game, historic Fort Snelling, and more. There is no additional cost for any of the field trips!

NOTE: There is an error in our Spring/Summer brochure for the 1st week.

The first row should be the first week. We need to add the 1st day, June 6th-1st day of fun! The code for that week is: Discover for Adventurers and Explorers. The Enrollment Contract below is accurate.

SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, & TECHNOLOGY CAMP

Join us at the Y this summer when we embark on a new summer experience for students ages 11-14! Each week campers will be able to learn and experience new things. Approximately half of the day is spent working on the science module and the other half devoted to traditional camp activities (like swimming, field trips, and group games.

Note: There is an error in the Community Education brochure which was mailed out to all Rochester parents. It lists an extra week by mistake and then some of the field trips fall under wrong weeks. The Enrollment Contract below is accurate.
