The Y offers a variety of Youth Sports programs for kids of all ages.  Additional fitness classes for youth and family can be found on our "Family & Youth Classes" page.

Small Stuff Sports  Small Stuff Sports is for kids who are 4 to 6 years old.  These classes are open to Y Members and for individuals in the community who are not currently Y Members.  Youth participants will learn the basics of the sport and will also learn to use teamwork to increase their overall stamina in the sport. The Y encourages a fun and supportive Youth Sports program where skills, teamwork and good sportsmanship are encouraged.  Parents are encouraged to guide their child during each clinic and work together with their child during the Youth Sports class.  A Youth Sports t-shirt is included in the program fee.

School Age Sports    School Age Sports classes are designed for kids ages 6 to 10 years old.  These classes are open to Y Members and for individuals in the community who are not currently Y Members.  Youth participants will learn the basics of the sport and will also learn to use teamwork to increase their overall stamina in the sport. Kids will have fun learning the basics and fundamentals of soccer.  Coaches Lucas and Leo Barbosa from Palestra Soccer Academy will be assisting with this program.  Encouragement to work as a team as well as skill building will be the areas of emphasis.  This class takes place in the Y's backyard or the Red/Blue gym on the third floor if it is raining.  Clothing suggestions include tennis shoes, athletic shorts, a t-shirt, tank top or long sleeve shirt.  Remember to bring a water bottle.  A Youth Sports shirt is included in the program fee.
