Y Mentors is a nonprofit, community based mentoring program serving youth grades K-12 in Olmsted County, in need of a positive adult role model with caring adult volunteers. Each adult volunteer is matched with one youth, based on similar interests.
To enhance the mentoring experience, Y Mentors provides on-going support, free monthly activities, YMCA resources, and community opportunities to foster long-term quality relationships. Our mentors offer their friendship and guidance to build a healthy mind, body and spirit in their Mentee. We serve 150 youth annually and on average 50-60 youth are waiting for a mentor. Find out if one is waiting for you… make a difference in your local community today!
