provide activities for teens that shape values and encourage life-long
community service. We help teens develop the skills they'll need
to become successful.
Youth
& Government
Model
Assembly
Join
other teens (grades 8-12) in the state as they learn about government
and empower their voices to be heard. This program teaches
individuals through research and practical application about government
(legislative, judicial, and executive branches). It provides leadership
roles to students and makes learning fun. The group will meet
periodically throughout the fall and then will convene for the
state convention in January in St. Paul, MN. Listen for announcements
at the different high schools or contact Robin

Teen
Strength Training
This
program is designed for teens between the ages of 13-15. The focus
is
all
in the fitness center. Learning the guidelines of the fitness
center but
more
importantly helping the teens to set up a safe and fun fitness
program.
The
equipment used in this program includes but is not limited to
Cybex resistive
equipment, free weights, cardio machines, medicine balls and
bosu's.

to work
one

Teen
Swimming Lessons
Haven't
learned how to swim or would like to improve? Come swim with
other
teens and learn the fundamentals of swim strokes, breathing, and
much
more!
Karate
Training for Adults & Teens
Our
instructors teach a classical style of Karate developed on the
island of
Okinawa
the birthplace of all forms of true Karate. Our instructors hold
black
belt certificates in the Ryukyu Kempo style of Karate. Adults
will learn
the
basic techniques of blocking, punching, kicking, and efficient
forms of
self
defense. We place equal emphasis on the development of character
and
strive for the physical and spiritual development of the adult
students in
a
non-competitive atmosphere. The
class meets on both Saturday and
Wednesday
